BODY: Aniplex has pulled back the curtain on its Tokyo Game Show 2026 booth, and Fate fans have the biggest reason to book a flight to Chiba. The publisher confirmed that its remake of the beloved PSP RPG will be playable in public for the very first time anywhere in the world.
Tokyo Game Show 2026 runs September 17–21 at Makuhari Messe, and Aniplex is bringing three playable titles to the show floor. Fate/EXTRA Record, the long-awaited remake of the 2010 cult classic, leads the charge with its global demo debut. Joining it is Melty Blood: Type Lumina, the fighting game spun out of Type-Moon's Tsukihime universe, giving competitive players hands-on time at the booth.
Rounding out the trio is Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 for Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, bundled with the "Infinity Castle Arc Chapter 1" character pass.
