BODY: Twenty-five years after Tidus first belly-flopped into Spira, Square Enix is turning nostalgia into a shopping trip. The FINAL FANTASY X MUSEUM: Museum of Phantom Light (幻光の記憶) runs September 12–27 at Lumine Zero, on the fifth floor of Newoman Shinjuku — and the newly unveiled goods list is squarely aimed at fans who never quite got over the ending.
The headline item is a blitzball cushion priced at ¥5,500, a plush take on the underwater sport that gave FFX one of gaming's most beloved (and dreaded) minigames. If you'd rather wear your fandom than hug it, there's a Zanarkand Abes jacket in L and XL sizes for ¥17,600, repping Tidus's home team.
Smaller keepsakes round out the range: a random amulet-style keychain (¥880), a Yojimbo coin purse (¥1,650), and Auron's flask-inspired shoulder pouch (¥4,950). Every paying visitor also receives one of eight randomly assigned "temple cards" on entry — a nod to the Cloister of Trials that gate Spira's aeons.
Tickets went on pre-sale August 7 through e-plus and run until September 11. Date-specified weekend/holiday passes and weekday period passes both cost ¥2,000, while day-of tickets jump to ¥2,600.

For overseas fans, note there's no confirmed international run — so this Shinjuku pop-up is, for now, the only place to hug a blitzball.
