BODY: Two of Japan's most comforting brands are heading outdoors together. Newell Brands Japan's Coleman division has announced a limited-edition collaboration with San-X's beloved character Rilakkuma, dressing the perpetually relaxed bear in Coleman's signature outdoor style.
The lineup pairs Rilakkuma's laid-back charm with camping culture, featuring plush toys decked out in outdoor gear, along with bags and other accessories that nod to Coleman's heritage as one of the world's best-known camping equipment makers. It's a natural fit: few characters embody the spirit of kicking back at a campsite quite like a bear whose entire personality is being relaxed.
The collection goes on sale August 1 at Rilakkuma Stores nationwide, as well as Rilakkuma no Yu, Rilakkuma Chabō, and Loft locations (excluding some stores). For those who prefer to shop from home, the San-X Net Shop opens orders slightly later, at 10:00 a.m. on August 3.
